Opening for the first time this June you are promised the most exclusive and eco-friendly of breaks at Alex and Clare's yurt camp. There is just one main yurt which houses a double and two single mattresses. However the Play Yurt can be used as a bedroom if extra accommodation is needed. As the homepage states it is 'yurt camping designed by one green family for another'. Although it sounds perfect for families, it would definitely be a tempting getaway for couples too! There is the chance to enjoy eggs from their own chickens and produce from the garden, depending what is in season. With a light supper of baguettes, cheeses, pâtes and écovallée produce to greet you on arrival, you are sure to get into the swing of French life very quickly indeed!

There are three yurts to choose from; Olive Yurt, Poplar Yurt or Oak Yurt. The names themselves are enticing enough but wait until you see the images on the website! Gorgeous surrounding and beautifully decorated yurts. Linen and towels are provided, and there is shared use of the kitchen and bathroom facilities. Treat yourselves to a stay in the Oak Yurt and find a stocked drinks fridge on arrival. Going by some of the comments from previous guests it is definitely worth a look...

Enjoy luxury camping in the only Yurt on site and take advantage of the exclusive use of the grounds with a lake and swimming pool. The hand-painted yurt, with its spacious interior has enough space for 4 people. There is a separate cabin with bathroom facilities and all your kitchen needs will be solved in the Abri. The luxury hamper you get on arrival is sure to be a hit, especially if all the nearby shops are shut. More pictures will be added, but they cannot disturb their guests to take them at present.
